Louisiana Fisheries Forward (LFF), a Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries and Louisiana Sea Grant collaborative program, will host a free, educational oyster industry workshop in Houma. Workshop topics
include oyster harvesting tags and requirements, methods of sale of oysters, private seed production and industry legislative updates. These presentations are designed to help those in the oyster industry thrive in a
constantly changing marketplace.

The free workshop will be held:

Friday, November 13, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Dumas Auditorium • 301 West Tunnel Blvd., Houma, LA 70360

Hands-on demonstrations will include new refrigeration techniques and equipment, including the LFF Seafood Quality Training Lab. A light meal will be provided, so registration is encouraged to accommodate all
