INITIATIVES
Louisiana
Sea Grant’s strategic initiatives address five issues identified
as especially pertinent to state, regional and national needs:
seafood harvesting and production,
water resources, wetland
restoration, sustainable
coastal communities, and public
and formal education. Several goals have been chosen for emphasis
within each area, and specific two-year objectives have been identified
in the Louisiana Sea Grant Implementation Plan.
