Louisiana Invasive Species Council and Advisory Task Force to Meet
March 3, 2006

The Aquatic Invasive Species Council and Advisory Task Force will meet at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, March 7, 2005 in the Louisiana Room of the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries (LDWF) headquarters building.

The two groups will meet concurrently to address invasive species issues and impacts to invasive species caused by the tropical weather events of last year. Topics of discussion will include Rio Grande cichlids in New Orleans and an update on the nutria control program.

LDWF headquarters is located at 2000 Quail Drive in Baton Rouge. This meeting is open to the public.
