This seminar, which will be live-streamed for those who cannot attend in person, will take place the afternoon of March 12 in Metairie, LA. Speakers will cover the history, science, and logistics of using surface collecting agents—a response tool that can be employed to herd oil—during an oil spill. A free lunch will be provided for those who register by March 2. To learn more or register, go to https://gulfseagrant.org/oilspilloutreach/presentations/herding-oil-at-the-surface/.

Please join the free networking lunch at noon—a time to get to know members of the emergency response community and others. Talks will begin at 12:45. Contact Emily Maung-Douglass with any additional questions at [email protected] or (225) 578-9926.
