Pond Workshop

When: 10:00 AM, Tuesday, November 7, 2017

Where: Hammond Research Station, 21549 Old Covington Hwy, Hammond, LA 70403

Why: To improve skills in maintenance of recreational and farm ponds.

Speakers for the workshop will be Dr. Brian LeBlanc, Professor at the LSU AgCenter’s School of Plant, Environmental and Soil Sciences in Baton Rouge, and Carol Franze, Southern Region Associate Area Agent

Topics:water quality, weed control, fish stocking and general biological management.

Each participant will receive a copy of “Recreational and Farm Pond Management Guide,” published by the LSU AgCenter.
