The Storm," an hour-long FRONTLINE investigation, examines how and why government at every level – local, state and federal – was unprepared, uncoordinated and overwhelmed in dealing with the Hurricane Katrina disaster that devastated the Gulf Coast in the late summer of 2005 and killed more than 900 people in New Orleans. The full program is available for viewing online.

Storm that Drowned a City” is an hour-long NOVA production which is available for viewing online. Experts and eyewitnesses reconstruct the devastating floods that Hurricane Katrina unleashed on New Orleans.

Termite-inators attack the Big Easy” is a Discovery Channel production. The levees of New Orleans failed due to the high winds and floodwaters of Hurricane Katrina, but the extent of the damage may not have been due to these factors alone. You might be surprised to learn the role some tiny saboteurs may have played in the disaster.
