RESEARCH INITIATIVES
Through special,
applied research initiatives, scientists throughout the Sea Grant
network address coastal and marine priorities of national economic
and ecological significance. Frequently researchers from several
institutions and disciplines collaborate on one project, thus
leveraging Sea Grant resources — both financial and scientific.
Louisiana Sea Grant supports the initiatives listed below as additions
and complements to its core research program.
