BWET Teacher Workshop: Layers of Louisiana History

Uncover layers of Louisiana natural history during year two of this workshop that combines hands-on field work and guided curriculum development. Teachers will collect samples alongside researchers to better understand our changing coast and how past, present and future engineering projects impact ecosystems. In addition to the summer workshop, teachers participate in two (compensated) virtual trainings—one in the spring and one in the fall. Addition support is provided for teachers that want to attend the Louisiana Science Teacher Association conference.
