Postponed: State of the Coast 2020
LA
USA
The State of the Coast (SOC) Conference is the largest state-wide conference of its kind providing an interdisciplinary forum to exchange timely and relevant information on the dynamic conditions of Louisiana’s coastal communities, environment, and economy.
** UPDATE: The Coalition to Restore Coastal Louisiana and its partners have postponed the State of the Coast conference, which had been scheduled for May of this year, until 2021 because of concerns surrounding COVID-19.
The premier gathering for coastal restoration in Louisiana will take place June 2 to 4, 2021. The conference will be at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in downtown New Orleans, as previously planned.
Registration for the 2020 conference will be honored for next year’s gathering. The program will be reviewed and reconsidered in the coming months to ensure timely content and to include discussion of how the coronavirus pandemic may affect our climate and coastal restoration.
