Oyster Hatchery Welcomes New Hire

Maringouin native M’Ryah Robinson has joined the Louisiana Sea Grant oyster hatchery as the newest research assistant. She recently completed her Bachelor of Science degree in marine biology at Nicholls State University. Robinson previously worked at the hatchery as a student worker.

“As the algae specialist, I look forward to working in algae production, as it supports sustainable aquaculture and promotes healthy oyster development.” Robinson said.
