Romano Joins Oyster Hatchery Team

New Orleans native Andrew Romano has joined Louisiana Sea Grant (LSG) as a research associate for the LSG Oyster Research Laboratory and the Michael C. Voisin Oyster Hatchery. Romano graduated from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette with a bachelor of science degree in biology with a concentration in ecology, evolution and marine biology. He is excited to gain hands-on experience with building and maintaining aquaculture systems.

“I look forward to expanding my scope of expertise and contributing to research that can help better coastal communities as well as the environment,” Romano said.
