After the Storms

On Aug. 29, 2005, Hurricane Katrina devastated southeast Louisiana. Only a few weeks later on Sept. 24, 2005, Hurricane Rita caused similar destruction on the state’s southwest coast. South Louisiana still struggles with recovery.

These Web pages chronicle the professional response of Louisiana Sea Grant personnel to the storms.
