Poole Becomes Cameron, Calcasieu Extension Agent

Grand Lake native David “Jordan” Poole joins Louisiana Sea Grant and the LSU AgCenter as the newest marine extension agent for Cameron and Calcasieu parishes. Poole graduated from McNeese State University in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science degree in agriculture. He spent several years working as a waterfowl guide, enhancing his knowledge of the inshore marshes of Cameron and Calcaseiu parishes.  He looks forward to joining LSG and giving back to the community where he grew up.

“My love for the Chenier Plain has always been definite.” Poole said. “As an avid outdoorsman, I am excited to join the team professionals who are as passionate about coastal resources as I am.”
